Jen has worked previously for AT&T and Windstream, but in 2014, Jen left her corporate job to be a stay at home mom and homeschool her children. While she was at home she stayed busy by not only educating her kids, but also tutoring other children in math, science, and bible, being involved in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, AYSO soccer, Charlotte HEAT track club, and bible studies during the summers for her children’s friends.
In late 2015, Jen helped found Bridge to Faith, a non-profit that provides much-needed funds for 25 Christian pastors who are tirelessly spreading the gospel in the Telangana Region of India. Jen oversees financial operations and fundraising that including wells for clean drinking water, motorcycles for pastors to travel to far out villages, new buildings for churches to spread the gospel, HIV/AIDS clinics for those in need of medical care, bibles and tracts, and other projects as necessary. She also co-leads an annual mission trip to India to visit the pastors and children, and facilitates fundraising education and awareness.
Most recently Jen has been volunteering at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Charlotte where she and her son answer the phones when the old Billy Graham crusades play on TV. She has also been involved in Bible Study Fellowship for nine years where she is a part of the technical crew and also a group leader.
Jen is married to Philip, and they live in Charlotte. They have two children. The oldest is a junior at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and their youngest is in eighth grade. In her spare time she enjoys camping, the beach, and woodworking. They are members of StoneBridge Church Community.
