Christina Awad graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. While in college, she founded and served as president of Rutgers for Life, a nonsectarian student pro-life advocacy group. She also served on the Board of Directors for Rutgers University Dance Marathon — the largest student-run philanthropic event in New Jersey — a yearlong fundraising effort culminating in a 32-hour event to benefit families of children with cancer and blood disorders. Christina spent several months in Honduras teaching English, dance, piano and computer classes to underprivileged girls.
Christina is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French. She lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband and two children.
Christina’s primary role at Equal Rights Institute is blogging and raising the funds we need to train pro-life students through training events, campus outreaches, and book publishing.
